Robert H. Rosenwasser – Short Biography
Robert H. Rosenwasser M.D., F.A.C.S., F.A.H.A is one of the pioneers in endovascular coiling and other breakthroughs in Neurosurgery. He is a well known and reputed person in this field has performed some advance surgical procedures and cured patients through his intracranial stents surgical procedures. He is a very dedicated and hardworking physician who through his vision and skills has made it possible to alter the neurosurgical history.
In the 1979, Robert H Rosenwesser completed his degree in medicine from Louisiana State University school of Medicine in New Orleans. He did his fellowship in 1984, from University of Western Ontario in neurovascular surgery. In the 1985, he completed his internship from the Temple University Hospital. By 1993, he finished his second fellowship from New York University in interventional neuroradiology. In 1994, he joined the Jefferson University. He became the department chair of Neurological Surgery and co-director of the stroke program for the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
Dr. Robert H Rosenwasser is much respected for all the contributions he has made to the neurosurgical department and is looked up as a mentor amongst his peers. Until now, he has contributed an approximate of 250 articles and four books on neurosurgery. He has won the Hugo Rizzoli Lecturer award in 2007 from Walter Reed Army Medical Center and has performed successful surgeries with intracranial stents and cured complicated conditions. His patients love him for his exceptional dedication to his work.
